There are so many amazing Professors at Chicago Booth that spend countless hours teaching, mentoring, and passing time with students inside and outside of the classroom. For this second installment of our Women At Booth series I sat down with two incredible Professors to hear more about their Booth experience.Continue reading Women at Booth Series: Professors
As an Admissions Fellow, I receive a lot of questions about what a typical day is like at Booth. I can easily default to speaking about my classes, the guest lectures I attend, and the student activity events I go to at night, but so much of the life of a Boothie are the random interactions, quick conversations, and group meetings.
That inspired me to create this video to provide an inside look at some of the smaller details of the Booth experience. Watch Kalyan Ray-Mazumder, ’19, as he progresses through a day in the life of a Boothie.Continue reading Watch A Day in the Life of a Boothie
Partners play a large role in the Booth community. Many decide to move to Chicago while their significant other attends school. Others visit our great city for fun events such as the Winter Formal and Spring Fling. Some are so inspired by the school that they themselves apply and attend Booth!

It’s funny to look back on our days as children and think about what we wanted to be when we grew up. My aspirations were volatile, to say the least, but I do remember a few options: a professional athlete, a Navy SEAL, and a rockstar. Today, thanks at least in part to Booth’s celebration of diversity of thought and interests, I can easily identify members of my class whom have worked in each of those professions. What’s even more impressive to me are the number of students at Booth that are taking time to turn their own childhood dreams into reality.
Here are a two of their stories.Continue reading Cue the Lights: Boothies Take the Stage Outside the Classroom
This year, Booth started the Fall Quarter on a Monday and in return granted students a full week off for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Well-deserved time to take a break from recruiting and classwork! While many Boothies chose to stay in Chicago or travel to visit family, some students organized group trips to locations around the world! Here’s a look at some of the cool places Boothies are traveling to this week.
