Why did you choose Booth? The complete freedom to chart my own path in terms of coursework and otherwise, the unmatched academic / analytical reputation, and an unbelievably accomplished, yet down-to- earth and fun student body. Oh, and Chicago!

Some student groups you’ve been involved with? Investment Management Group, Healthcare Group, Private Equity Group, Wine Club, and Communications and Public Speaking Group

Favorite Booth moment or “Booth experience” and why?  The Leadership Orientation Retreat (LOR). The entire first-year class of ~600 students takes over a resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, for a weekend of fun, bonding, and getting even more excited for the two years ahead.

Favorite class/professor? Money and Banking with Professor Randy Kroszner. Only at Booth can you learn about the financial crisis / banking system directly from a former Governor of the Federal Reserve…

Favorite trip taken with fellow Boothies? My Random Walk trip to Spain – 8 days, 3 cities, and plenty of good times!

Your Chicago neighborhood and what you like about it? The Loop. It’s right in the middle of the city and within 10-15 minutes of everything Chicago has to offer. Plus, being right on the river and the lake makes for some amazing views!

One thing you wish you had known when applying for MBA programs? You will have so many academic, social, career, and other opportunities / events as part of your MBA experience, and prioritization and time management are going to be a challenge. So really think about what you’re trying to get out of the MBA and make a list of your priorities. It’ll come in handy when you inevitably feel like you can be in three different places at once and have to make some choices.

Why did you want to join The Booth Experience team? My experience at Booth so far has been nothing short of unbelievable, and I want to share it with all of you!
