This week TBE caught up with Federico Gonzales, who shared his experience interning in private equity. Read on if you want to learn about what a private equity intern does, how Booth’s Private Equity and Venture Capital lab course helped Federico land his position, and what advice he has to offer those recruiting for PE internships.
Considering Booth? There are a ton of events to help you get to know us better coming up in cities around the world. We are particularly excited about the Booth Women Connect Conference that will take place here in Chicago on September 21. Hosted by the Full-Time, Evening, Weekend, and Executive MBA Programs, Booth Women Connect offers an opportunity to meet with female business leaders and learn from Booth faculty and alumni. With all of these events on the horizon, I decided to share my thoughts on admissions events, now that I’m on the other side of the application process.
Summer is flying by but Booth interns are still being kind enough to take time out of their busy schedules to talk about their internships. This week, TBE’s very own Dana Fortini shares her story. I, personally, can’t wait to hear more about her internship at Spanish Vines – and to make myself available for any product testing she might need – when we return to campus.
Curious about what a Brand Manager does all day? You’re in luck! This week Justen shared with TBE what it’s like to spend the summer getting a taste (no pun intended) of the Associate Brand Manager role at Kraft Foods. Check out his post below to learn more about his internship and how Booth prepared him for a transition into marketing.
Hey everyone! So although the Harper Center has been relatively quiet the past few weeks, the students at Booth have been exposed to all sorts of interesting projects and given a great deal of responsibility as part of their summer internships. Here at The Booth Experience, we’ll be highlighting our students’ internship experiences, which span a multitude of industries, job functions, and geographic locations. Our inaugural post is from Sibo Zhao, who is a product manager at Zynga in San Francisco this summer.
