Boothies at Bain in Boston

Following Kate’s update on her Beantown summer, I too, would like to say hello from Boston! I had the opportunity to intern at Bain & Company, and I’ve just wrapped up an incredible ten weeks as a Summer Associate. I grew up in Troy, NY, but I have spent the past six years living in the Midwest (with five of those years in Wisconsin prior to Booth), so it has been wonderful to be back closer to home this summer.

Get to Know Nicole Newman

Prior to attending Booth, I worked in education on the administration side as a data science and operations manager. My day-to-day varied tremendously. I enjoyed knowing that I made a difference and seeing the impact of my work. After four years in non-profit roles, I decided to take the plunge and apply to business school.

Get to Know David Noel

I’m originally from Miami, FL and after getting my degree in economics from the University of Central Florida, I worked in investment banking at Deutsche Bank. After realizing that I wanted to get more involved with strategy, I transitioned into working at a boutique creative agency helping startups and e-commerce companies with their customer acquisition and digital media strategies. Working with startups in this capacity is what got me excited about entrepreneurship, and eventually led me to enroll at Chicago Booth.

Get to know James Wang

I’m from St. Louis, and stayed true to my Midwestern roots by getting a degree in Economics from Northwestern. I loved Chicago so much that I couldn’t imagine leaving, and I’m lucky that there are such fantastic institutions right here in the city to make that possible. The reasons why I chose Booth beyond location were its reputation and the access I would have to incredible faculty.
