What’s one thing you hope to accomplish this year? I want to try something that scares me. Maybe I’ll try out for Follies, compete in our Lip Sync competition, share a personal story at Booth Stories, compete in a Sales Pitch competition….I’m not sure what, but there are so many rich opportunities to stretch myself and I’ll regret leaving Booth without taking advantage of those opportunities.
What neighborhood do you live in? The Loop (in MPP). I love living with my fellow Boothies and being able to connect outside of the classroom! I also love that we are so close to the lakefront which is so beautiful.
What’s your most memorable moment at Booth? My random walk where I hiked the Inca Trail in Peru. Hiking for 10 hours a day, sleeping in tents, sharing campfire meals (and not showering for a few days) with your classmates is a bonding experience like no other- and I wouldn’t trade it for the world!
Advice to anyone considering business school: DO IT!! But honestly, think critically about what you hope to get out of your business school experience, in terms of personal and professional development, and take advantage of all that the program has to offer from day one; these two years go by SO quickly!
What your favorite thing to do in Chicago? I really love running along the Lakeshore Trail. It is incredible that in the middle of a bustling city you can escape for a bit with the breathtaking views of Lake Michigan!
