Why did you choose Booth? The Booth community has range of experiences and backgrounds, and every single person I met through the application process amazed me with their stories and challenged me with their questions, which is exactly what I was looking for in an MBA program.
Some student groups you’ve been involved with? Wine Club, CMSG, Booth Dance, SABG, Healthcare Group
Favorite class/professor? Microeconomics with Ram Shivakumar – even after majoring in Economics, I felt like I still learned so much
Favorite trip taken with fellow Boothies? Morocco with my Random Walk!
Your Chicago neighborhood and what you like about it? Wicker Park – so many great restaurants!
Favorite thing to do in Chicago? Exploring new restaurants and coffee shops
Fun fact about you? I just got married – in Jamaica!
One thing you wish you had known when applying for MBA programs? Visit the schools and talk to people before filling out applications. I tried to gauge “fit” and culture through the website and a lot of times didn’t realize the mismatch until after I put hours and hours into the application.
Why did you want to join The Booth Experience team? I loved reading the blog when applying, and want to share my and my classmates’ experiences with prospective students!
