Fun fact: The summer after graduating college, I (and two buddies) completed a self-supported bike ride across the country from Seaside, OR to Jones Beach, NY. We each dedicated our ride to a charity that was important to us. I raised over $6,000 for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation for Spinal Cord Injury research.
Pre-Booth Job: Associate at Primus Capital
Summer Internship: Business Planning at Microsoft
Concentrations at Booth: Finance, Entrepreneurship
Your Chicago neighborhood: Currently live in South Loop and love it. It’s affordable and has a real neighborhood feel. Great combination of small neighborhood establishments (e.g., Overflow Coffee, L&A Healing Studio) and large retailers (e.g., Target, Home Depot). It may not have the best nightlife, but I like the fact that when I come home, it truly feels like a home. Plus, almost every train line runs through South Loop, so it makes it very easy to get anywhere else in the city. Finally, Grant Park is your backyard and Chinatown is only a short walk away. What more could you ask for? Favorite neighborhoods I would consider living post-graduation: South Loop, Pilsen, and Hyde Park.
What are some of the student groups you’ve been involved with?Private Equity Group, Booth Dance Club, Booth Technology Group, Entrepreneurship/Venture Capital, Booth Basketball, Epicurean Club.

Favorite thing to do in Chicago? Eat my way through different neighborhoods.
Favorite Booth experiences thus far? Karaoking not once, not twice, but thrice in one week in Japan. Nothing bonds people more than having drinks and singing along to the songs of our youth with 30+ other Boothies.
